As an aspiring professional visual journalist, Rebecca Vazquez has photographed for families, pet owners, and nonprofit organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, United Way, and Sharefest Inc. Shooting for her own entertainment since 2008, Rebecca obtained a bachelors degree in Visual Journalism from Brooks Institute in April of 2015.

After obtaining a higher education and receiving her Bachelors of Science she used her knowledge and continued to work with Nonprofit organizations helping them capture the special moments they have throughout different communities. While photographing for nonprofits, Rebecca played a large role in the lives of the next generation as a Multimedia Coordinator of the Wilmington Boys & Girls Club of the Los Angeles Harbor. She was the one everyone turned to for anything within the digital arts, whether it be teaching the youth about photography, film, and graphic design or being the one behind the scenes for events and etc.

Having life time clients, she has photographed for multiple families and enjoys photographing children and animal on her free time. She has always been passionate about making families and pet owners happy with her photographs. She has photographed for special events such as weddings, sweet sixteens, quinceanera, and even bar mitzvahs.

Rebecca’s real passion, however is outside of the comfort of a neighborhood, she enjoys the moments she can just go up to the mountain side of anywhere relatively away from human contact and shoot nature photographs. She plans to travel the world photographing wildlife, from the different species to the endless changing seasons of the world. She is currently located in the Lancaster area.
